Questions people ask
Which one should I pick?
If you plan to stick with a language for more than 4 months, one-time is the cheaper path — and you keep the app forever. If you want it to just work, managed keys and premium cloned voices included, the subscription is the easier choice.
Is $99 really forever?
Yes. One payment, lifetime access, all future updates included. No hidden renewal. You can use the app offline, keep your word bank, and your license doesn't expire. API usage (OpenRouter, ElevenLabs) is separate because those providers bill you directly.
What exactly happens if I cancel the subscription?
You can still sign in and review the loops and word-bank entries you've already saved. You can't generate new loops, and premium voice cloning stops working. Resubscribing restores everything instantly.
What does 'bring your own keys' actually mean?
You make accounts at OpenRouter (for the LLM) and ElevenLabs (for text-to-speech + voice cloning), paste the API keys into Settings once, and pay those providers directly for what you use. For a typical daily user that's a few dollars a month.
Why isn't there a free tier?
No permanent free tier — we'd rather have a fair one-time price than strangle the product with ads or artificial caps. Early pricing is $99 ($149 regular) while we're still shipping new features.
Can I switch later?
Yes. If you start on the subscription and later want to buy it outright, we'll credit you. If you bought it and later want the managed convenience — and a second synced device — you can add a subscription on top.
